Nearly 40 years later, it is one of the most famous Greek restaurant’s in New York City.
You can see the full restaurant menu here. Peryali put Greek wine on the map in Manhattan, and the New York Times even held a wine tasting back in 1988, the first of it’s kind in NYC.
Named for the Greek word meaning coastline or seashore, Peryali pays homage to the Greek Islands.
